Na de misère van de afgelopen weken hebben we eindelijk een lichtpuntje. In overleg met de neuroloog is weliswaar besloten de hernia er niet uit te halen middels een operatie, maar wel op korte termijn te starten met een revalidatietraject. Zenuwpijn / neuropatische pijn is het resultaat van vele factoren, dus niet alleen de lichamelijke oorzaak. Ook je spierenkorset, mentale staat en kennis over het pijnprobleem spelen een grote rol. In revalidatie zijn er hele goede resultaten te halen met het verminderen van de pijnpieken. Loesje blijft waarschijnlijk wel altijd last houden van chronische pijn.
