A journalist is a professional who writes for newspapers, magazines and the internet. The basis for the articles he or she writes is own research and interviews. An editor is a person who is in charge of and determines the final content of a text or publication. The material that he or she prepares for publication is not necessarily written by him- or herself, but by journalists and/or authors who are assigned by the editor.
